First-Generation Scholars Program
Our mission is to give students a place to connect with other first-generation students, faculty, and staff with shared experiences. Mentorship opportunities with first-generation faculty and staff are also available for freshmen! CU defines First-Generation College Students as those whose parents did not complete a four-year degree, even if they attended for a season. Siblings attending college do not affect first-generation status.
